Question 1

What is a good CPS score?

Accepted Answer

A good CPS score for casual clicking is 6–10 clicks per second. Competitive gamers average 8–14 CPS. Professional players can reach 20+ CPS using techniques like jitter clicking or butterfly clicking.

Question 2

What is CPS?

Accepted Answer

CPS stands for Clicks Per Second — the number of mouse clicks you can register in one second. It is used to measure clicking speed in gaming and competitive scenarios.

Question 3

How does the CPS test work?

Accepted Answer

Click as fast as you can during the test period (default 5 seconds). The tool counts every mouse click and divides by the elapsed time to give your clicks-per-second score.

Question 4

Does CPS affect gaming performance?

Accepted Answer

Yes — higher CPS helps in games that require rapid clicking like Minecraft PvP, Roblox, or clicking-based browser games. However, polling rate and input lag matter more for FPS games.

Question 5

What is the world record CPS?

Accepted Answer

The unofficial world record for CPS is around 14.1 clicks per second over 5 seconds, though unverified claims of 20–30 CPS exist using butterfly or drag-clicking techniques.
